The Noble Spirit

In December 2010, ski adventurer and world traveler Fred Noble was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Since his diagnosis, Fred has dedicated his time to raising funds and awareness about the disease.

The project started for Wit House when directors Andrea Johnson and Bob Holmes asked if we could help them finalize the story and tie together years of footage and interviews. Assuming a producer role we partnered with South Lake Tahoe based cinematographer and editor Dane Henry to shoot additional footage and work with Andrea and Bob on the final edit.

During that time we took several trips to Portland where we re interviewed Fred and key subjects while finalizing the storyline. The final film premiered on April 9, 2014 in Hood River, Oregon, and will be submitted to film festivals this fall.
